

On 9 November 2025, the Faculty of International Law at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam successfully hosted the seminar “Career Guidance: From Classrooms to Professional Legal Practice.” The event featured Ms. Lương Thị Mỹ Ánh, Lawyer and Head of Compliance at Ajinomoto Vietnam Co., Ltd., and attracted a large audience of students from the Faculty eager to gain insights into legal career paths and professional development.

During the seminar, Ms. Lương shared her career journey, from working as a legal assistant to assuming a managerial role in corporate legal compliance. She provided students with practical perspectives on the daily realities of working in a law firm and in corporate legal departments, highlighting the skills, competencies, and mindset that employers seek in law graduates.

Drawing on her extensive professional experience, she offered valuable lessons on career planning, professional thinking, legal practice skills, and personal development strategies, equipping students with essential tools to navigate the transition from academic study to the legal job market.
The seminar created an interactive and informative space for students to ask questions, discuss career options, and learn firsthand about the expectations and opportunities in professional legal environments. It also reinforced the Faculty’s commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world practice, helping students prepare for successful careers in law and related fields.
