II. Principles of Admission Score Calculation

- Admission scores for the admission method based on the results of the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam (Admission Method Code 100)* are determined for the following subject combinations: A00, A01, D01, D03, D04, D06, DD2, D07, D09, D10, D14, D15, with the C00 combination set 3 points higher than D01 for each major.

- Admission scores for all methods are converted to a 30-point scale and rounded to two decimal places. Any additional points, if applicable, include encouragement points from the Academy and priority points from the Ministry of Education and Training, not exceeding 3 points in total, and the total admission score does not exceed 30 points.

- The Academy converts equivalent admission scores across different admission methods in accordance with the Announcement on Conversion of Equivalent Admission Scores for full-time undergraduate programs of the year 2025, dated on 23 July 2025 by the President of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam.

- Admissions are conducted by major, following the principle of ranking candidates from highest to lowest scores until quotas are filled. Candidates are considered equally based on their admission scores, regardless of the order of preferences, and may only be admitted to the highest-preference major for which they are eligible.
