ENGLISH FACULTY HOLDS 16TH REAMEY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CEREMONY 2024

On the afternoon of September 20th in the Berlin Room of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, the 16th Reamey Scholarship Award Ceremony took place to congratulate 45 students on their excellent academic achievements and great efforts in their studying, especially in learning English for the last school year 2023-2024.

For over a decade, the Raymond E. Reamey Memorial Fund (commonly referred to as the Reamey Scholarship) sponsored by the Reamey family has been held annually at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam to honor and encourage outstanding students during the process of studying.

Attending the ceremony was the presence of Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Lien - Dean of the English Faculty, MA. Le Quang Hung, Acting Head of External Relations Office, MA. Nguyen Tuan Hiep, Head of Students’ Affairs Office and all lecturers of the English Faculty and scholarship-recipients of the school year 2023-2024

Opening the ceremony, The E-Talent 2023’s first runner-up Nguyen Duy Dai performed a lovely song “Perfect” to make the atmosphere more exciting and vibrant.

Then, on behalf of the English Faculty, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Lien - Dean of the English Faculty, congratulated the students who received the scholarships and expressed the 's deep gratitude to the Reamey family for their great support and contribution over the years.

At the event, Kieu Gia Bao, a recipient of this year’s scholarship, read the letter written by the Reamey Family to extend their best wishes to all lecturers and students of the English Faculty on the occasion of the 16th anniversary celebration of the Reamey Scholarship.

Moreover, on behalf of 45 students receiving the Reamey Scholarship 2024, Pham Quynh Huong- a student of class TA49C1, showed her thankful feeling to the lectures from the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam and the Reamey family for giving this valuable scholarship to 45 students.

The scholarship awarding ceremony occurred in a harmonious and warm atmosphere which left a good impression and impression on all guests and students attending.
