Introduction to the book “Fundamental Issues of International Relations Theory”

       The book "Fundamental Issues of International Relations Theory" by Prof. Dr. Vu Duong Huan consists of 15 chapters that systematically and logically address the core issues, beginning with: the nature of international relations; the science of international relations theory, followed by the methods and methodology for studying international relations (basic and fundamental theoretical schools of thought on international relations, some specific single theories, and Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic ideology); and subsequently, topics such as: participants/actors in international relations; the goals and means of participants/actors in international relations; national interest in international relations; the international system; international law and international relations; ethics in international relations; and the two fundamental processes of international relations—international cooperation and international conflict.
