After the presentation session, there was an open discussion on various aspects revolving issues related to theories, methods, skills, and techniques for forecasting analysis in foreign affairs research. Participants actively discussed and provided valuable opinions, enhancing awareness of the importance of theoretical issues and forecasting research methods, providing additional tools to facilitate forecasting research with more solid and favorable foundations, especially in the current context of a volatile and unpredictable world, alongside the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Therefore, the seminar was not only significant for participants in the "Forecasting Vietnam's foreign environment by 2030" program but also for current international relations researchers in general, as well as those directly involved in policy advisory practices within and outside the Ministry.
