Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh welcomed the delegation to the DAV, emphasizing that although Vietnam and Denmark are geographically distant, the two countries share many commonalities, such as their commitment to promoting green development, digital transformation, cooperation based on mutual respect, and the upholding of international law. Experts from the DAV also provided updates on Vietnam’s orientations, policies, and key political, economic, social, and foreign affairs developments, thereby identifying potential directions and opportunities for future cooperation between the two countries.
Ms. Charlotte Flindt Pedersen, Director of the Danish Foreign Policy Society, expressed her appreciation for the DAV’s warm reception. She highly valued the Green Strategic Partnership between Denmark and Vietnam, noting its strong potential for further development. She also commended Vietnam’s rapid progress in economic growth, green development, and gender equality, and expressed confidence that Vietnam will continue to make new and positive contributions to regional development and stability.
In an open and constructive atmosphere, the two sides further discussed global and regional developments, the South China Sea situation, and issues of mutual concerns.
