The Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, with its mission of pioneering research and training in international relations, foreign policy, and global integration, takes great pride in having accompanied the nation’s major strides over the past 65 years. Entering the 2025–2030 period, we continue to place ourselves in the nation’s great current – a new era of vigorous advancement to realize Viet Nam’s aspiration for strong and prosperous development, underpinned by a professional, comprehensive, and modern diplomacy.

Over the past 65 years, generations of faculty, researchers, officers, and students have contributed tireless efforts, demonstrating the Academy’s vitality and ability to adapt to the rapidly changing world. Building on our foundation as Viet Nam’s leading institution for diplomacy-related education and research, and with the guidance and direct support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Academy has expanded its reach, becoming an integral part of the Asia–Pacific academic and diplomatic network, fostering extensive cooperation with more than 80 renowned universities and organizations worldwide.

This new stage requires the Academy to continue bold reforms: modernizing curricula to blend theory with practice; strengthening global partnerships and knowledge networks; and affirming its position in the region and the world.

We are fully aware that in a world of turbulence and fierce competition, investing in knowledge and people is the key for Viet Nam to assert its position on the international stage. We are proud to be a hub where experienced lecturers, researchers, and diplomats converge, while also nurturing future generations - training highly qualified human resources dedicated to the nation’s development and defense.

Our vision for 2030 is not only to be an academic institution meeting international standards, but also a bridge that amplifies Viet Nam’s voice, influence, and role in the world. Innovation remains our guiding principle. We focus on:

- Enhancing teaching and research quality: Positioning the Academy as a leading hub of knowledge and innovation in the region, contributing to the advancement of modern diplomacy;

- Investing in people: Developing a corps of lecturers and staff with modern mindsets, profound knowledge, and global competencies;
