[24th] Internship Application Call : Placement at the Embassy of Vietnam in Australia for Cohorts 49 & 50 - Academic year 2025 - 2026

The Training Division hereby announces the Internship Program - Round 24 (AY 2024 - 2025) with the Embassy of Viet Nam in Australia for students of Cohorts 49- 50 as follows:

  1. General requirements: Third-year students with good English proficiency.
  2. Job description: Provide online support for appropriate tasks such as summarizing news upon request, transcribing meetings, workshops, and seminars, and producing communication materials about ASEAN when the Embassy assumes the ASEAN Committee Chairmanship in Canberra in 2026.
  3. Number of positions: Approximately 7 students, including:
  • 02 students majoring in International Relations;
  • 02 students majoring in Asia–Pacific Studies;
  • 01 student majoring in International Law;
  • 01 student majoring in International Economics;
  • 01 student majoring in International Communication (to produce communication materials upon request).

4. Internship duration:

  • For news summarizing and transcribing meetings/workshops, students can start immediately after selection (3 or 6 months depending on the student’s availability).
  • For transcribing meetings and producing communication materials during ASEAN Chairmanship, students will work from January 2026 to June 2026.

5. Internship modality: Remote (online).

  • Registration Deadline: 21:00, 11 July 2025.
  • Selected students will receive a notification email 5–7 working days after the registration deadline.
  • To ensure serious registration and fair internship opportunities, students who registered and were selected but do not participate will not be considered for future internship rounds.
  • Selected students will be under the management of the Training Division and the hosting unit; they must maintain a serious attitude toward the internship, submit internship reports, and comply with all regulations and procedures. Violations will be subject to disciplinary measures depending on severity.
  • Selection of candidates depends on multiple factors, including the practical requirements of the hosting unit. To encourage students, the Training Division may also consider applicants who have registered many times without being selected. Therefore, students are requested to provide truthful information about the number of times they have applied.
