

On the afternoon of October 23, 2024, at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Anh Tuan, Acting Head of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, hosted a meeting with Dr. Natalia Abramova, Dean of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), to discuss potential cooperation between the two Academies.
Lecturers from the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, and the Faculty of International Economics, along with representatives from the Foreign Training Service Centre, attended the meeting. From RANEPA, Ms. Elena Prokhorova, Deputy Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management, was also present.
The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, with substantive and constructive exchanges between the two sides to enhance mutual understanding and open up future cooperation opportunities between the two academies.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hà Anh Tuấn and Dr. Natalia Abramova provided an overview of the functions, duties, organizational structure, and current training situation of their institutions, respectively.
According to Dr. Natalia Abramova, RANEPA is a leading educational and research institution in Russia and the region, directly under the President of the Russian Federation. She highly appreciated the quality of training and research at DAV and expressed her hope that in the near future, the two academies would develop cooperative programs, focusing on student exchange between the two institutions. RANEPA plans to design personalized study programs tailored to the needs of both students and trainees.
In response, Associate Professor Dr. Hà Anh Tuấn welcomed the proposed cooperation initiatives and suggested that the two sides initially focus on the following key areas: (i) Undergraduate student exchange between the two academies; (ii) Potentials of postgraduate student exchange programs; and (iii) Joint research on topics of mutual interest.
Ultimately, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Anh Tuan and Dr. Natalia Abramova agreed to explore the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation between DAV and RANEPA.
