Students from the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy (FIPAD) continue to make their mark at academic competitions, regional forums, and international exchange programs—demonstrating a strong spirit of global integration, youthful diplomatic confidence, and solid academic capability. The three outstanding events below highlight the dynamism and creativity of FIPAD students as they expand their presence across the region and the world.
FIPAD Students Join the Youth Camp for ASEAN and Friends’ Engagement (YCAFE) 2025 - Republic of Korea (ROK)

From August 3 to 8, 2025, Ngo Tuyet Nhi (K50 – Korean Studies, Asia–Pacific Studies) represented FIPAD at the Youth Camp for ASEAN and Friends’ Engagement (YCAFE) in the Republic of Korea. Under the theme “ASEAN in talk with K-Culture”, YCAFE 2025 served as a bridge connecting ASEAN youth and Korean youth through a diverse range of cultural and educational experiences.

Participants engaged in enriching activities such as visits to the National Museum, a Han River cruise, traditional cooking classes, K-pop dance workshops with 1MILLION, a Nanta performance, Korean culture classes, traditional market tours, and a K-League baseball game.
At the closing ceremony, Tuyet Nhi’s group presented their proposal “How can we make Korean culture more visible not just as a trend, but as a bridge?”, offering ideas to promote Korean culture as a meaningful connector between ASEAN and ROK.
This experience not only broadened the international outlook of FIPAD students but also reaffirmed the confidence and proactive spirit of Vietnamese youth in cultural exchange and regional cooperation.
FIPAD Students Selected to Represent Vietnam at the East Asia Summit Model (AFMAM – EAS 2025) – Indonesia

The Faculty proudly congratulates Trinh Ho Tam Nhu (K50) and Ha Thu Trang (K48)—International Relations majors—who successfully passed two competitive rounds to become two of the three Vietnamese youth delegates selected for the East Asia Summit Model (AFMAM – EAS 2025).
The conference will be held from September 15 to 19, 2025, at the ASEAN Secretariat Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia. It will gather 60 outstanding students from ASEAN and dialogue partners such as Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, New Zealand, Russia, and the United States. Delegates will engage in policy discussions, diplomatic simulations, and regional youth networking.
Despite only completing her second year and not yet taking advanced ASEAN-related coursework, Tam Nhu distinguished herself through her award-winning performance at SEAmulation 2025 and the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Phu Tan Huong, along with her own perseverance. AFMAM – EAS 2025 marks an important milestone in the diplomatic aspirations of both Tam Nhu and Thu Trang.
