ANNOUNCEMENT On the early admission threshold to the full-time undergraduate program of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in 2023

1. The ADMISSION threshold for early admissions according to Section 8.2, Part II of the Admissions Plan

• Based on the Admissions Plan dated April 18, 2023, of the Diplomatic Academy;
• Based on Official Letter/Dispatch No. 1919/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated April 28, 2023, from the Ministry of Education and Training guiding student admission to universities, colleges for preschool education;
• Based on the applications for early admissions to full-time undergraduate program of the Diplomatic Academy in 2023;
• Based on the recommendations for review by the Admission Council of the full-time undergraduate program of the Diplomatic Academy in 2023Top of Form;

The Diplomatic Academy announces the ADMISSION threshold for early admission applications to the full-time undergraduate program according to Section 8.2, Part II of the amended Admissions Plan as follows:

1. Admission Score Calculation
2. Based on Section 10 of Part III of Official Letter No. 1919/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated April 28, 2023, from the Ministry of Education and Training regarding the regulation that educational institutions must ensure that the admission score does not exceed 30 points, the conversion of the admission score for the Diplomatic Academy is as follows:
3. a) For the majors of International Relations, International Economics, International Law, International Business, International Communications, Asia-Pacific Studies, and International Commercial Law:

Admission score = [Sum of the average scores of the results of the academic performance in the 03 subjects within the admission subject combination, converted priority points from the Ministry of Education and Training if any, encouragement points from the Academy] x 0.88

* 0,88: is the coefficient applied to all candidates.Top of Form

1. b) For the major of the English language:

Admission score = [(Sum of the average scores of English subject multiplied by 2 and the results of the academic performance of the other 2 subjects in the admission subject combination) x 3/4, converted priority points from the Ministry of Education and Training if any, encouragement points from the Academy] x 0.88

* 0,88: is the coefficient applied to all candidates.

1. The conversion of admission scores does not alter the results or the ranking of candidates in the admission process.

III. Note

- Candidates are considered ĐẠT (Admitted) for their highest eligible preference.

- Candidates can check their scores on the online admission system of the Academy at the website address at: https://tuyensinh.dav.edu.vn

- The admission result announcement will be sent to each candidate via the registered email along with a link for them to check their scores.

- Candidates are officially confirmed as admitted when they have graduated from high school, meet the minimum entry requirements set by the Diplomatic Academy, and are officially recognized as admitted by the Ministry of Education and Training through the centralized admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- All candidates applying for admission to the Academy are required to register through the admission portal of the Ministry of Education and Training or the national public service portal, following the general schedule and guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Candidates must ensure the accuracy and honesty of all information and supporting documents provided for the admission process. The early admission results are based on the information provided in the candidate's application. The Academy reserves the right to adjust the initial admission results if errors or discrepancies are discovered during the verification process of the information provided by the candidates.

- Successfully admitted candidates (meeting the afore specified criteria) should follow the information provided on the official channels of the Academy and pay attention to further announcements for the necessary actions to be taken in the upcoming time.
