ANNOUNCEMENT ADMISSION SCORES FOR FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM OF 2023

According to the admission method based on the results of the High School Graduation Exam in 2023 (Admission method code: 100)

1. Admission scores

- Based on the Admissions Plan for the year 2023 of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam;

- Based on the applications for admission through the assessment of the results of the High School Graduation Exam in 2023 into the full-time undergraduate program at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam;

The Diplomatic Academy announces the admission scores for applications based on the results of the High School Graduation Exam in 2023 (Admission method code 100) according to Section 8.4, Part II of the Admissions Plan, as follows:

1. Admission scores calculation
2. For the majors of International Relations, International Economics, International Law, International Business, International Communications, Asia-Pacific Studies, and International Commercial Law: The admission score is calculated on a 30-point scale, including the total points from three exam subjects, plus bonus points based on regions and priority for specific groups as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training (if applicable). The score is rounded to two decimal places.
3. For the Major of the English Language: The admission score is calculated on a 40-point scale, with the English subject carrying a weight of 2, and the Mathematics and Literature subjects carrying a weight of 1 each. Bonus points are added based on priority considerations for specific groups and regions as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training (if applicable). The score is rounded to two decimal places.
4. Additional criterion: in case the number of candidates who reach the admission score threshold exceeds the admission quota for the specified major, those candidates with the scores equal to the admission scores will be considered for admission according to additional criteria in the following priority order:

- Additional criteria 1: The exam score for the Foreign Language subject applies to candidates using the subject combinations A01, D01, D03, D04, D06, D07; or the Literature applies to candidates using the subject combination C00; or the Mathematics applies to candidates using the subject combination A00.

- Additional criteria 2: Order of candidates' preferences (priority given to candidates with higher preference choices).
