On November 20, Assoc. Prof. Le Hai Binh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Central Communication and Education Commission, and a delegation of the Party Central Communication and Education Commission officials congratulated the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Receiving the delegation, on the side of the DAV were Dr. Pham Lan Dung, Acting President of the DAV and representatives of the Academy's units.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Le Hai Binh said that the Party Central Communication and Education Commission's working group was very pleased to witness the remarkable development of the DAV in both quantity and quality in recent years. He felt moved and proud to make his contribution to the development of the Academy (Assoc. Prof. Le Hai Binh was Vice President of the DAV in the period 2017 - 2019).

Talking to the DAV officials, the Deputy Head of the Party Central Communication and Education Commission affirmed that the DAV is the largest educational institution of the country in the field of foreign affairs by training foreign affairs officers for ministries and localities of the country and meeting the country's increasingly deep international integration requirements. At the same time, the DAV is also a leading research institution in foreign affairs, contributing to advisory work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and high-ranking leaders. He said that the DAV needs to continue to build a solid foreign political theoretical basis to produce high-quality research projects, linked to the country's development practices and the fluctuations of international politics.

Dr. Pham Lan Dung, on behalf of the staff and lecturers of the DAV, shared with the Party Central Communication and Education Commission delegation the results the DAV has achieved in recent years. In particular, the 15th South China Sea International Conference jointly organized by the Diplomatic Academy and partners for two days from October 25 - 26, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City was evaluated as objective and scientific by international scholars. Regarding building a comprehensive, modern Vietnamese diplomacy, imbued with the identity of "Vietnamese bamboo", the Academy is researching the subject of "Vietnamese Diplomacy" to be included in the Academy's curriculum. The Acting President of the Diplomatic Academy sincerely thanked the attention, encouragement and support of the Party Central Communication and Education Commission in sharing information and orienting foreign propaganda work and looked forward to continuing to receive support by the Party Central Communication and Education Commission in the future.

On the occasion of celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, Assoc. Prof. Le Hai Binh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Central Communication and Education Commission sent wishes of health and honor to the generation of officials, lecturers and students of the DAV. Deputy Head of the Party Central Communication and Education Commission believed that the DAV would promote its glorious tradition over the past 65 years, worthy of being the country's key foreign training facility in the field of foreign affairs; affirmed that the Party Central Communication and Education Commission always accompanies, shares and supports the Academy in the development process to successfully complete the task of educating and training foreign affairs officers for the country that the Party, State and people trust and entrust; contributing an important part to the cause of building and developing a comprehensive, modern Vietnamese diplomacy, imbued with the identity of "Vietnamese bamboo".

Also on this occasion of November 20, the DAV welcomed many delegations of agencies and partners to congratulate the Academy./.
