The International Business program began enrolling students since 2021 at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Designed with a modern and globally oriented approach, the program equips students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in international business. Students benefit from diverse learning experiences and hands-on activities that strengthen their ability to thrive in multicultural environments.

The International Business program at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, developed in reference to the program of Monash University, Australia (ranked #42 in QS World University Rankings 2024), offers contents that meet international standards, providing students with in-depth knowledge of business administration, international marketing, import-export, logistics, and supply chain management. The curriculum also focuses on strengthening students’ abilities in strategy development, business planning, and contract negotiation, with a strong emphasis on foreign language proficiency. This prepares students to work independently and effectively in multicultural and global business settings. Additionally, students have the opportunity to directly transfer to the joint Bachelor of International Business program taught by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and Monash University (Australia).
The curriculum is structured to help students progressively build and expand their competencies, from foundational knowledge to specialized expertise, while enhancing essential skills and gaining real-world exposure through internships and practical activities.
The learning pathway is optimized with numerous practical career-oriented activities, including application experience, cross-cultural working and communication skills in international commercial enterprises, project management skills, and entrepreneurial skills, with seminars featuring speakers who are knowledgeable business leaders with rich practical experience from multinational corporations and organizations, international agencies, Vietnam trade offices abroad, and foreign representative offices in Vietnam. Additionally, students have the opportunity to develop business projects, participate in competitions both nationally and internationally such as Economist Up, FOIE Tournament, Youth Innovation Competition on Lancang-Mekong Region's Governance and Development, HSBC Business Case Competition; engage in study exchanges at foreign partner universities; and visit and undertake internships at multinational corporations and companies such as Shinhan Bank (South Korea), AEON Group (Japan), Fast Retailing Group (Japan), Central Group (Thailand), Vietnam Airlines, and more.
The program is delivered by lecturers who received advanced training at leading universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, China, Australia, and other countries. Faculty members continuously update course content based on global trends and developments in international business.
Many lecturers have significant experience working at major multinational corporations both in Vietnam and overseas, bringing practical perspectives into the classroom.
