Champions of the Diplomatic Academy Sports Festival - DAV Games 2025 Revealed

DAV Games is an annual sporting event organized by the Student Association of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, aiming to create an energetic, engaging, and holistic playground for students. In 2025, the event continued to expand in scale with a diverse range of disciplines, combining traditional sports with esports.

The First Champions Crowned: Football, Dance Battle, and Badminton

The first phase of DAV Games featured three highly anticipated disciplines: Football, Dance Battle, and Badminton.

Opening this year’s tournament was the Men's Football category, where the team Nhà Anh Kinh Tế claimed the championship title after delivering impressive performances in both skills and strategy.
In the Women's Football category, the Nữ Công Gia Trưởng team continued their dominant streak, successfully defending their title for the third consecutive year.

After seven years of absence, Dance Battle made its comeback, turning DAV Games 2025 into a vibrant stage celebrating musical creativity and expressive performance styles. With meticulous preparation and explosive energy, CASCO and DNAM emerged as the Champions, winning the judges' hearts with their synchronization and exceptional musicality.

In Badminton, intense performances took place across three categories: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. In the Men’s Doubles category, athletes Nguyễn Đức Toàn and Nguyễn Bá Bình secured the championship title after surpassing multiple strong contenders.

The Women’s Doubles category featured a breakthrough performance from Nguyễn Thị Mai Phương and Hà Thị Hương Giang, who dominated the matchups with remarkable synergy.

In Mixed Doubles, Hà Thị Hương Giang once again showcased her exceptional form, winning the title with teammate Nguyễn Việt Hải.

The Competitive Spirit Continues: Arena of Valor, 9-Ball Pool, Basketball, and Chess

One of the most followed categories of DAV Games 2025, Arena of Valor, delivered thrilling matches throughout the tournament. After a highly competitive journey, team Cơm Tấm rose to the top, demonstrating strategic gameplay, excellent coordination, and unwavering teamwork in crucial moments.

In 9-Ball Pool, a discipline celebrated for its precision and finesse, Nguyễn Phi Bảo claimed the championship title after multiple rounds of intense elimination matches. His calm, accurate, and sharp execution made him the standout player of the category.

The Basketball category brought fierce and emotional moments to the court, marked by speed, strategy, and relentless determination from every team.
In Men’s Basketball, Team 2—comprising Nguyễn Huy Hoàng, Nguyễn Duy Hùng, Nguyễn Đại Dương, and Nguyễn Huy Hoàng—proved that resilience and teamwork are the keys to victory.

In Women’s Basketball, Team 1—featuring Nguyễn Phúc Đoan Trang, Hoàng Thị Tú, Nguyễn Nhật Anh, and Nguyễn Ngọc Thanh Bình—delivered impressive performances marked by intelligence, persistence, and determination.

In Chess, the high-stakes mental battles kept spectators on edge with every move. The Open Rapid Chess title was claimed by Hoàng Trịnh Linh Vũ. In the women’s categories, athlete Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Thơ excelled with double victories in Women’s Rapid Chess and Women’s Blitz Chess. The Open Blitz Chess title went to Đàm Viết Đại.

More than just medals, DAV Games represents a journey where individuals push their limits, teams strengthen their bonds, and the spirit of sportsmanship shines brightly across the Diplomatic Academy community.
