DAV Graduation Ceremony for Students of Full-time Program - Batch 47 (Period 2020-2024)

On July 13th, under the guidance of DAV leaders, the Student Affairs Office, in coordination with the DAV Student Association, organized the Graduation Ceremony for Students of Full-time Program - Batch 47 (Period 2020-2024).

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Deputy Director-General of the Personnel and Organization Department Le Duc Thien; DAV Vice President, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin; Head of the Undergraduate Affairs Office Hoang Mai Huong; Head of the Student Affairs Office Nguyen Tuan Hiep as well as leaders of Departments, and officials, and lecturers currently working in the Institutes, Departments, Offices, Faculties of the Academy. In this significant event, relatives and friends of the new graduates of batch 47 also attended to share the joyful atmosphere.

In her opening speech, DAV Vice President - Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, expressed her pride and conveyed beautiful wishes to the new graduates. Dr. Thin shared that: "As Bill Gates once shared: 'School shows us the key to knowledge, learning in life is a lifelong job.' All of you should continue your efforts and maintain an optimistic attitude. There are numerous paths out there, and this world is wide enough for each of us to find a suitable place. Despite differences in abilities, experiences, circumstances, personalities, and academic results, I want all of you to always keep a smile on your face. You deserve that smile after a strenuous journey."

In an emotional atmosphere, on behalf of the DAV Board of Management, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin officially declared the graduation of 497 new bachelor's degree holders: "This important moment belongs to all of you. The bachelor's degree from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam will be your red passports, helping you step into new realms of knowledge, experiences, opportunities, and success."

Following that, Head of Undergraduate Affairs Office Hoang Mai Huong reading the Decision on Graduation Recognition (Turn 1) for nearly 500 students from Batch 47 majoring in English Language, International Communication, International Economics, International Relations, and International Law. This decision marks a significant moment for the Batch 47 students as they officially become Bachelor's graduates, embarking on a new journey filled with new experiences and challenges.

This year, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam is delighted to have 5 valedictorians:

  • Valedictorian for International Communication - Le Hoai Linh.
  • Valedictorian for English Language - Le Vu Nguyet Minh.
  • Valedictorian for International Law - Le Van Nam.
  • Valedictorian for International Economics - Nguyen Thi Hong Anh.
  • Valedictorian for International Relations - Dinh Tran Yen Nhi.

Additionally, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam congratulates 129 students who graduated with the "Excellent" type of degree.

During this ceremony, Deputy Director-General of the Personnel and Organization Department Le Duc Thien awarded Certificates of Merit to 47 students who achieved the title of Outstanding Students in community activities and 23 Outstanding Students in scientific research.

Next, in the most expected part of the ceremony, the Deans of Faculties, representing their faculties and staff of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, took the stage to confer degrees and deliver congratulatory letters from the DAV President to the new graduates of batch 47. The students of batch 47 then went on stage to receive their bachelor's degrees, exchanging warm embraces and preserving beautiful moments with their teachers.

 
 

The Graduation Ceremony was successfully organized. The Academy hopes that the students of batch 47 have had memorable moments and precious experiences with lecturers, family, and friends. We wish the new graduates of batch 47 success, luck, and happiness in both careers and personal lives.
