Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam organizes opening ceremony for academic year 2023-2024

On the afternoon of October 14th, 2023, in the joyful atmosphere of the school reunion day, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam successfully organized the Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 - 2024. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including leaders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials, lecturers, and all first-year students of the 50th batch.

The Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 - 2024, led by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and organized in collaboration with the DAV Student Association, was a resounding success, leaving an unforgettable impression in the hearts of the new students.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet; Acting President of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Dr. Pham Lan Dung; representatives from various Institutes, Departments, Offices, Faculties and Centers, along with the team of officials, staff, and lecturers currently working at the Academy. Particularly, more than 2,000 new students of batch 50 participated in the ceremony. In this significant event, families and relatives of the new students also joined to share the joy of the new academic year.

The ceremony began with opening speeches from the DAV Acting President, Dr. Pham Lan Dung, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet, conveying meaningful wishes to all new students for their new academic year.

The Opening Ceremony was also an occasion to honor 19 valedictorians who excelled in the undergraduate admissions scores and 8 valedictorians of the Joint Training Program.

As a continuation of the program, Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet, along with leaders and lecturers engaged in a special exchange session to share their academic experiences with the new students.

In their speeches at the ceremony, Do Ngoc Linh and Nguyen Khanh Ly - representatives of batch 50 new students, also expressed their deep gratitude and pride. They made a commitment to maintain an unceasingly passionate spirit, constantly strive for improvement, dedicate themselves to learning and training, and uphold the flame of compassion and elegant living to be worthy of the trust and expectations of the Academy.

The Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 - 2024 was organized successfully with the hope that all students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in general, and the new students of batch 50 in particular, will have a new academic year filled with various achievements.
