On June 8, 2021, in Hanoi, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) received the Certificates of Quality Accreditation for its training programs. These certificates were issued by the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) in accordance with the standards stipulated in Circular 04/2016/TT-BGDĐT, dated March 14, 2016, by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). The accreditation covers five undergraduate programs: International Relations, International Law, International Communication, International Economics, and English Language.

Immediately following the completion of its institutional accreditation process and receiving the Certificate of Institutional Quality Accreditation on April 22, 2020 (issued by the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, under the standards of Circular 12/2017/TT-BGDĐT), the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam identified the subsequent accreditation of its five key training programs as a crucial priority. This endeavor was deemed essential for enhancing educational quality and fulfilling the conditions for the Academy's university autonomy policy.

Under the close guidance and support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Training, and thanks to the determination and exceptional efforts of the Academy's Board of Directors, faculty, and staff, the accreditation process for the five training programs was swiftly implemented. The Self-Assessment Reports for all five programs were completed in just under one year.

From January 18 to January 29, 2021, the External Assessment Team from the CEA-AVU&C conducted the official on-site evaluation at the Academy. In April 2021, the External Assessment Reports for the five programs were formally approved by the Education Accreditation Council.

The recognition of these five programs by a reputable Vietnamese accreditation body, confirming their compliance with MOET's quality standards, is a significant acknowledgment of the quality of training, scientific research, and community service at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

This achievement serves as a foundation for the Academy to continue improving and enhancing its training quality, driving towards the objectives outlined in its development strategy. The Academy aims to pursue further accreditation according to the standards of the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and other international benchmarks. This positive news serves as timely encouragement for the Academy's enrollment program this year./.
