English Faculty holds 15th Reamey Scholarship Award Ceremony

On the morning of May 12th in the Berlin Room of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, the 15th Reamey Scholarship Award Ceremony took place to congratulate 40 students on their excellent academic achievements and great efforts in their studying, especially in learning English for the last school year 2022-2023.

For over a decade, the Raymond E. Reamey Memorial Fund (commonly referred to as the Reamey Scholarship) sponsored by the Reamey family has been held annually at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam to honor and encourage outstanding students during the process of studying.

Attending the ceremony was the presence of Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Lien - Dean of the English Faculty, Ms. Hoang Mai Huong, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hiep, and all lecturers of the English Faculty and scholarship-recipients of the school year 2022-2023.

Opening the ceremony, The E-face 2023’s first runner-up Ngoc Bich performed a lovely song "Memories" to make the atmosphere more exciting and vibrant. Then, on behalf of the English Faculty, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Lien - Dean of the English Faculty, congratulated the students who received the scholarships and expressed the 's deep gratitude to the Reamey family for their great support and contribution over the years.

Moreover, on behalf of 40 students receiving the Reamey Scholarship 2023, Nguyen Trong Hoang Tu - a student of class TA47C1, showed his thankful feeling to the lectures from the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam and the Reamey family for giving this valuable scholarship to 40 students.

Sharing after receiving the scholarship, Hong Phuong - a student of class NNA49C1, said: “I filled out the Raymond Reamey scholarship application but really at that time, I didn't expect too much because there are countless extremely talented and studious students who also applied this form. When I received the news that I was lucky to become one of 40 recipients, I was overjoyed. The Reamey Scholarship is also a great source of motivation to help me become more confident in myself and more steadfast in pursuing my dream journey.”

The scholarship awarding ceremony occurred in a harmonious and warm atmosphere which left a good impression and impression on all guests and students attending.
