The event offered participants the opportunity to learn about Japanese Rice Balls (Onigiri) – a traditional dish and a distinctive symbol of Japanese culinary culture. Attendees were not only introduced to the theory behind the dish but also actively participated in hands-on preparation, from ingredient selection to shaping the rice balls, creating a lively and interactive learning experience.

Beyond acquiring culinary skills, participants also had the chance to interact, exchange ideas, and connect with one another, fostering strong relationships and enhancing the sense of community among those passionate about Japanese culture. The activity further strengthened the connection between ChuraChura and students of Japanese Studies, paving the way for future collaboration and development.

The Organizing Committee sincerely thanks all students for their enthusiastic participation and support. We hope that each participant takes away memorable experiences, feels more confident in exploring Japanese culture, and continues to nurture their interest in the language, people, and culinary heritage of the Land of the Rising Sun.
