FICC Signs Cooperation Agreement with VTVCab

On the morning of July 22, 2022, the Faculty of International Communication and Culture, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam hosted the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVCab), marking a strategic partnership to enhance training, career development, and media collaboration.

The ceremony took place at the main hall of the Faculty of International Communication and Culture. Attendees from VTVCab included Mr. Nguyễn Văn Ninh, Deputy General Director; Ms. Phạm Thị Ngọc Anh, Director of the On Edu Center; and representatives from Vtalent Star Development Academy Joint Stock Company. Representing the Diplomatic Academy is Dr. Vũ Tuấn Anh, Dean of the Faculty of International Communication and Culture, alongside a team of young, multidisciplinary faculty members and outstanding students.

VTVCab, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vietnam Television (VTV), originated from Vietnam’s pioneering pay cable television technical center. Established on September 20, 1995, VTVCab has continuously expanded its reach nationwide, providing cable television and Internet services to nearly 61 provinces, with a mission of nationwide broadcasting under the motto: “Constantly expanding – constantly advancing.”

The cooperation agreement formalizes commitments between the two parties and sets a framework for collaboration in several key areas:

  • Joint organization of programs, events, seminars, and student competitions

  • Collaboration in media and brand development

  • Partnership in career guidance and recruitment

  • Cooperation in training and professional development

The signing of this agreement reflects the Diplomatic Academy’s strategic orientation toward international integration and practical training. For the Faculty of International Communication and Culture, the partnership with VTVCab represents a significant step in connecting students with leading companies, offering early exposure to the labor market and real-world professional experiences.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen the link between academic training and industry needs, preparing students for successful careers in media, communications, and related fields while promoting innovation and professional growth within Vietnam’s rapidly evolving media sector.
