Representing the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Pham Quynh Anh, Hoang Ha, and Van Vo Hanh Nguyen - students of Class 48, Faculty of International Communication and Culture - excellently became the Champions of the contest.
In the Ranking Final round, the team 29 16 61 from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and other teams sequentially went through 4 competition segments: Quick Knowledge, Rapid Commentary Challenge, Live News Commentary, and Live Debate on current affairs issues.

In the Commentary Challenge round, with the topic received 48 hours prior, the competing teams faced hot current affairs topics, including: The negotiation capability between Russia and Ukraine at the present time; Cultural industry in Vietnam: initial steps - how to step correctly; Streamlining the state apparatus in Vietnam; Civil war in Syria and the influence of major countries here; Political crisis in the EU.
Meanwhile, in the Live Debate on current affairs issues round, with the participation of the two most excellent teams: 29 16 61 and Tam Tieu Thu, the topic "Should Artificial Intelligence be controlled by international organizations or not?" attracted attention and created a tense atmosphere. The two teams drew lots to determine the supporting or opposing side.
Each competition segment required the contestants to not only demonstrate quick-wittedness, sharp analytical skills but also confidence and adeptness in conveying information and defending their viewpoints in the face of hot current affairs situations.
Once again, FICC congratulates the Faculty's students on the recent proud achievement and hopes that you will maintain your enthusiasm and passion, reaping more successes on the upcoming journey.
