

As part of the “Print and Online Journalism” course, the FICC students had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with leading journalists at Dân Trí. Attendees included Journalist Phạm Tuấn Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Dân Trí Online; Dr. Vũ Tuấn Anh, Dean of the Faculty of International Communication and Culture; Journalist/ Lecturer Trần Thị Lan, Deputy Secretary of the editorial board; Journalist Nguyễn Tiến Anh Tuấn, Head of Media Department; Journalist Lê Bảo Trung, Head of Science & Technology Department; Journalist Đặng Thành Đạt, International Affairs Department; Journalist Phạm Hồng Hạnh, Culture & Lifestyle Department; along with many other editorial staff.
During the exchange, students listened to compelling professional stories and valuable experiences shared by the journalists. Their candid accounts inspired the students, emphasizing that “journalism requires persistence,” and provided crucial guidance for the students’ upcoming first internships at media agencies.

Following the presentations, students actively asked questions and shared their own perspectives and experiences throughout the Print and Online Journalism course. The session offered an invaluable opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, enhancing students’ knowledge and practical understanding for academic research and career preparation.
The Faculty of International Communication and Culture extends sincere gratitude to Dân Trí Newspaper for hosting this meaningful exchange, which allowed students to deepen their understanding of professional journalism and gain a comprehensive, scientific perspective on the Vietnamese media landscape. This experience equips students with the knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s journalism sector in the future.
