

On July 22, 2025, in Seoul (Republic of Korea), Dr. Nguyen Phu Tan Huong, lecturer of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy (FIPAD), Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, participated in and delivered a presentation at the 1st ASEAN Visiting Fellows Research Seminar 2025.
The event was organized by the ASEAN–India Research Center, Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS), under the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA), with the participation of scholars from the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

The seminar featured in-depth discussions on key regional issues, including: (i) ASEAN and its centrality in the regional architecture; (ii) The “ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific” (AOIP); (iii) The impact of the Indo-Pacific regional order on Korea–ASEAN relations.
The seminar served as an important platform for regional scholars to exchange perspectives, update research trends, and strengthen academic collaboration between ASEAN and the Republic of Korea.

The Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy congratulates Dr. Nguyen Phu Tan Huong on her participation and contribution to this meaningful academic event, and is confident that she will continue to advance her expertise in research, academic networking, and international cooperation in the time ahead.
