Freshman of DAV Class 46 participated in Workshop “Communication Style”

On October 1st, 2019, at Khanh Tiet room of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the workshop on "Communication Style" was held by the Training Department. This workshop was exclusively organized for the freshmen of Class 46, aiming at helping students improve their soft skills when entering a university environment.

The workshop’s speaker was Trainer Tran Thi Minh Hai who is in charge of expertise and training of the Voice Mastering Program - I Love My Voice of 2A&H Education Training and Assistance Co., Ltd. She is also visiting lecturer at training and consulting companies, Unicom Training Company and FPT School of Business.

The workshop provided a lot of knowledge and experiences from experts as well as methods for each individual to form their own communication style. In a humorous and friendly presentation, speaker Tran Thi Minh Hai introduced to students the importance of self-image and elements of self-image.

In addition, activities such as practicing self-confidence and professionalism, planning for self-change were also interwoven throughout the workshop. The freshmen of K46 learned how to walk and stand in front of a crowd, how to smile professionally, how to sit and rest hand politely. At the same time, the standards of shaking hands, greeting, costumes and communication distance, etc. were also instructed in great detail by trainer Tran Thi Minh Hai.

During the workshop, K46 students responded to the practical activities enthusiastically and excitedly. The sharing session with the topic "Communication style" contributed to equip new students with many useful and practical skills. That is the basic luggage of the young generation in their initial approach to Foreign Affairs.
