

On February 22, 2025, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for Master’s and Doctoral Degree Recipients of 2024 and the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2024–2025. The event marked an important milestone in the academic and research journey of the new Doctors and Masters, while also opening a promising new chapter for students officially beginning their studies at the Academy.


The ceremony was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hai Binh – Editor-in-Chief of Communist Review, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Tinh – Director General of the Department of Foreign Policy, and the Board of Directors of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, along with representatives of the Academy’s affiliated units, the new Doctors and Masters, and their families.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Hung Son – Acting Director of the Diplomatic Academy, extended heartfelt congratulations to the new Doctors and Masters. He emphasized that they represent an important part of the Academy’s educational mission, expressing his hope that they will continue striving for excellence, becoming role models for future cohorts of doctoral candidates and graduate students, and ultimately evolving into future Associate Professors and Professors.

The ceremony also received meaningful congratulatory remarks from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hai Binh, who is himself an alumnus of the Academy. He expressed pride in witnessing the growth and achievements of the graduates, encouraging them to continue strengthening their expertise, maintaining their dedication, and contributing to national development and international integration.

On behalf of the new Doctors and Masters, the graduates expressed deep gratitude to the Academy’s Board of Directors, departments, faculty members, and the broader academic community for their guidance and support throughout their studies and research. They also affirmed their commitment to applying the knowledge and skills they have gained in creative and meaningful ways to contribute to society, thereby underscoring the high quality of the Academy’s training programs.


Alongside the joy and pride of the new Doctors and Masters, the ceremony also featured heartfelt reflections from newly admitted students. They expressed the honor of becoming part of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam—a prestigious academic environment with experienced faculty and strong scholarly foundations. With excitement and determination, the new students look forward to meaningful years of study, eager to acquire valuable knowledge to advance their careers and contribute to society.


The ceremony concluded in a warm and dignified atmosphere, marking the beginning of a hopeful new academic year. The Graduate Training Department of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam believes that in the coming years, more outstanding new Doctors and Masters will continue to spread knowledge and contribute to the development of Vietnam’s education and scientific research.
