Hanoi’s Brand Communication in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network

On December 9, 2025, the E-Journal of Political Theory published a research paper entitled "Hanoi’s Brand Communication in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network", conducted by Ph.D Đỗ Huyền Trang together with Master Nguyễn Hưng Hòa, Organizing Committee of the Hanoi Creative Design Project.

In the 21st century, city branding - an integral part of national branding—has become a strategic priority for many cities and countries around the world. City brand communication plays an important role in enhancing image, reputation, and strengthening public engagement. This article examines and clarifies the methods of brand communication for Hanoi, the Capital, within UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network, based on the city branding model, evaluates its effectiveness, and proposes solutions.
