At the event, students learned about the origins, meanings, and important rituals of Bunpimay, one of the biggest traditional holidays in Laos. In addition, participants had the opportunity to directly experience typical activities such as the wrist-tying ceremony, water-splashing for good luck, and tasting traditional Lao dishes. The warm and engaging sharing by the guests, along with performances rich in Lao cultural identity, offered attendees an authentic and deep insight into the culture of Laos.

Therefore, the event not only helped students better understand the cultural beauty of the neighboring country but also fostered a spirit of respect and appreciation for cultural diversity in Southeast Asia. It was also an opportunity for young people to recognize the role of cultural exchange in building friendly relations, cooperation, and strengthening bonds among nations.

DSAC would like to express sincere thanks to the lecturers, guests, and all students who took the time to attend, contributing to a memorable, meaningful, and complete Lao New Year celebration. The support and participation of everyone are the driving force for DSAC to continue bringing more valuable activities in the future.
