📢 LAUNCHING THE 1st FIPAD RESEARCH CONTEST

Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy (FIPAD)
Semester I, Academic Year 2024–2025

To promote scientific research among students, encourage creativity, and create opportunities for learners to apply academic knowledge to real-world issues, the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy (FIPAD) officially announces the launch of the 1st FIPAD Research Contest within the Faculty.


📍 Eligibility:
All students of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy. Students may participate individually or in groups (maximum 5 members).


📍 Competition Timeline

📌 Round 1: Research Proposal Submission (03/10/2024 – 18/10/2024)
Students/Groups submit their proposed research topics in PDF format to the organizing contact: Ms. Đỗ Kim Giang (Email: dokimgiang@dav.edu.vn) with the email subject:

[SV – RESEARCH PROPOSAL SUBMISSION] – Full name of representative / Group name

PDF content must include:

🔹 Personal Information

  • Full name

  • Student ID

  • Class

  • Phone number

  • Email

🔹 Research Proposal

  • Rationale for the research

  • Research question(s)

  • Literature review/overview of related studies

  • Expected research direction and methodology


📌 Round 2: Research Implementation (20/10/2024 – 20/12/2024)
Immediately after Round 1 results are announced, the academic supervisor will work with the student(s) to conduct the research. Final reports must be submitted to the Organising Committee in both:

  • Soft copy via email (dokimgiang@dav.edu.vn)

  • Hard copy (to Ms. Đỗ Kim Giang, Room D629)


📌 Round 3: FIPAD Student Scientific Research Conference
(Tentatively on 28/12/2024)


📍 Awards

  • 01 First Prize

  • 01 Second Prize

  • 01 Third Prize

  • 06 Consolation Prizes

The top three prize-winning projects (First, Second, Third Prize) will be nominated for participation in the Academy-level Student Scientific Research Conference.


‼️ Important Notes

  • Research topics must belong to the academic fields of the Faculty (International Relations & Asia–Pacific Studies).

  • Each research project must have an academic supervisor (within or outside the Faculty).

  • Research projects that advance to Round 2 will present their results and compete for awards at the Student Scientific Research Conference scheduled for late December 2024.
