Minister of Foreign Affairs to Talk with DAV Students and Young Diplomats

The event organized by the MOFA Youth Union will take place in the hybrid form of face-to-face meeting combined with virtual conferences with more than 100 points, of which, more than 90 points are Overseas Representative Missions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The dialogue will be joined by the MOFA leaders, representatives of the Party Committee of the Ministry, leaders from some departments, the Executive Committee of the MOFA Youth Union and especially more than 500 students, young diplomats in Vietnam and abroad.

The talk themed "Promoting tradition, firmly stepping into the future" is a dialogue between two generations of diplomats about the inheritance and promotion of tradition and identity of diplomacy; the glorious duties and responsibilities of diplomats in national construction and defense; the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the efforts of young people to practice, strive and grow. This is also an opportunity for the Minister and the MOFA leaders to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, ambitions as well as initiatives and ideas of young people in foreign affairs and diplomatic development. 

The dialogue is an importantly political event and of far-reaching effects, continuing the fine tradition maintained by the MOFA over the periods, demonstrating the deep concerns of the MOFA leaders for the cause of training and fostering their successors, promoting the role of the young generations, moving towards building comprehensive and modern diplomacy, enhancing the pioneering role of foreign affairs, contributing to realizing the aspiration and development goals of the country in the new period./.
