Murder Mystery 2024: A special investigative role-play playground for students

On December 22nd, the 2024 Murder Mystery event adopted a Christmas theme, centered around a terrifying incident that occurred during Santa Claus’s year-end party. From the moment the “case” was activated, participants transformed into reluctant guests who suddenly found themselves playing the role of detectives. They followed clues, analyzed testimonies, examined details at the scene, and used logical reasoning to uncover the true culprit behind the dramatic storyline.

More than just a crime-solving game, Murder Mystery offered a space where participants could combine logical thinking, argumentation, English communication skills, and teamwork. Players were constantly required to inquire, debate, hypothesize, and collaborate — all of which contributed to an atmosphere that was both intense and exhilarating.

The event concluded successfully. Laughter, heated discussions, surprising plot twists, and a thrilling reveal of the culprit made the room burst with excitement. In the warm festive spirit, Murder Mystery seemed to chase away the early winter chill of Hanoi, bringing everyone an evening filled with joy and inspiration.

The success of this year’s edition once again highlights the creativity and dedication of the DAV English Club in creating meaningful and engaging activities for students.
