Recap of DAV Open House 2025 – Discovering the Joint Training Program at Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam

On the 30th of March, the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) held the DAV Open House 2025, an admission showcase organized by the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam. The event was vibrant and dynamic, attracting a large number of students and parents seeking information about the Academy’s academic programs. Notably, the Joint Training Program hosted a series of engaging activities, offering a comprehensive overview of the learning development opportunities at DAV. Here’s a recap on the activities held Joint Training Programs at DAV Open House 2025.

Seminar on Discovering the Joint Training Program at Geneva Conference Room:

With representatives from partner universities, the seminar provided extensive information about the Joint Training Program. Parents and students had the opportunity to meet Ms. Vu Phuong Anh – Representative of Macquarie University; Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh – Representative of Monash University; Ms. Allison Chen – from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, Ms. Huyen Tran – Representative of Flinders University. Through these discussions, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the teaching methodology, programs’ advantages, living and learning environments, along with the universities’ remarkable achievements.

Demo classes: 

To provide a hands-on experience, the Joint Training Program organized a demo class for each major in the program. Students had the opportunity to discuss current diplomatic issues and develop analytical and negotiation skills in the International Relations demo class with lecturer Vu Phuong Anh. For the International Business demo class, students met lecturer Nguyen Thi Thanh Lam and participated in a class on global business strategies, gaining insights into international markets and management skills. In addition, students explored International Communication major with Dr. Nguyen Dong Anh through practices creating multinational communication campaigns, along with enhancing their creativity and communication abilities. Through these sessions, students gained a deeper understanding of the academic programs and were inspired to further pursue their fields of interest.

The admission team was enthusiastic to offer information about the international Joint Training Programs such as International Business, International Relations, International Communication, and English Language.  Many inquiries regarding study pathway, transfer opportunities, and career prospects were addressed, providing parents with essential information while enabling students to gain clearer direction for the future.

Introduction to student led clubs and touring the Academy:

In addition, parents and students also had the opportunity to meet and learn about the diverse student led clubs at DAV. With a range from academic clubs to those focused on arts, sports, and volunteer work, there vibrant activities promise to offer prospect students a well-rounded and enriching experience.
