Recap of the "Bridging Hohenzollern" Event

19:00 13/01/2025

Inspired by Germany's famous Hohenzollern Bridge – not only a symbol of connection but also representing the fascinating intersection of cultures – "Bridging Hohenzollern" promised to take you on a wonderful journey of discovery featuring authentic German cuisine and Vietnamese folk melodies woven together by GD - the German Club of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

The event was a symphony of Eastern and Western cultures, with the mission of evoking and conveying the traditional values and essences of both countries to the audience. This ranged from the songs and serene melodies of Vietnamese culture to the classic and mysterious beauty of Germany. The audience immersed themselves in an emotional journey where the most relatable and genuine experiences awaited to touch the hearts of everyone who "set foot" on this bridge.

The event was divided into TWO MAIN AREAS with incredibly exciting activities:

"The Land of Flavors" – Gastronomie: Here, traditional dishes from both cultures were served to visiting guests. The fresh interplay of Eastern and Western cuisines, combined with decorations deeply characteristic of each region, was a dedicated effort to recreate a journey for the senses of taste and sight, transporting you to the "land of castles."

"The Realm of Echoes" – Klanggarten: The highlight of the event was the special artistic performances. German songs, Vietnamese flute melodies, and musical flows with different rhythms and flavors performed in harmony within this event's framework. Each song, folk art performance, or spoken play was not only for entertainment but also filled with unique ancient stories, legends, and the conveyance of millennia-old traditional values from both nations.
