Students from K46 English High-quality Class visit American Center

On the September 30th, 2019, the English Faculty of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) organized a visit to the American Center (AC) for students majoring in English language from High-quality Class TA46C.

The visit helped students access and explore the various source of information at the AC, simultaneously created an opportunity for them to learn, gain more knowledge and improve soft skills through activities at the AC such as joining clubs, participating in linguistic and cultural activities. With the enthusiastic support of head teacher Le Van Khanh, the students had a better overview of world culture, especially American culture. The students said that "the study space at the AC is an ideal space for studying, researching as well as searching for new and interesting information in this small version of the US".

Upon registration as a member of AC, students will receive a monthly schedule of specific language and cultural activities. At the same time, they are also updated with information related to career opportunities, short and long-term scholarships of AC and the US Embassy in Hanoi. Moreover, they also have internship opportunities at AC to gain more experience and improve their English skills.

The American Center is a cultural center under the U.S Embassy in Vietnam, providing free, reliable, accurate and specific information and programs about the United States to Vietnamese people, especially through online sources. To students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, AC is a huge treasure of knowledge and cultural information and is also a place for them to improve language learning, seek higher learning opportunities and find information for their further studies and employment after graduation.
