On the morning of November 6, 2024, “Watching the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election” event was successfully held with the enthusiastic participation of students from the Asia-Pacific studies, specialized American Studies studies.

At the American Club, students majoring in American Studies had the opportunity to follow the 2024 U.S. presidential election live. Through this timely and efficient event, students gained a deeper understanding of the U.S. political system as well as American political and social life.  Alongside the election watch, students took part in engaging networking activities held in an open and welcoming atmosphere, fostering greater connection and interaction among participants.

Notably, the event was honored by the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper. This provided students with a valuable opportunity to listen to and engage in discussions on the 2024 presidential election and key political and social issues of concern in the United States. These exchanges offered practical insights that effectively complemented students’ academic knowledge in American Studies.

Reflecting on the event, the students expressed their sincere gratitude: “We would like to thank to the faculty and teachers for creating such a meaningful experiential learning opportunity, providing us with such a valuable and practical chance to broaden our knowledge and gain enriching real-world insights”.

The American Studies major would also like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the American Club and all participating students for contributing to the success of the event. We look forward to seeing you again at future academic and networking activities.
