Why does the economic decline of Greek - a faraway country could seriously damage our country? And why could it be said that Vietnamese is making a lot of British and American unemployed? At the talk, the speaker provided a general understanding of globalization, presented opportunities and challenges for global countries, and pointed out the role of the media in overcoming globalization waves.

Accordingly, globalization is an indispensable and objective trend that has had a strong impact on all aspects of social life in all countries in the world. With the increasing capacity of the international transport industry and the unprecedented development of information technology, space and time are no longer barriers to socio-economic activities and they bring people closer. Globalization has turned the world into a "global village". This creates opportunities and prospects but also creates great challenges for the whole world in general and especially for developing countries like Vietnam in particular.

Globalization is both an opportunity and a challenge for developing countries

In such a context, each country needs to have a full and profound awareness of the opportunities, challenges, and prospects of developing media in globalization and based on that to find orientations and solutions to apply them appropriately and effectively.

The students were excited to ask questions and interact with the speakers

Also within the framework of this talk, many questions regarding globalization and the development of the media in the wave of globalization were raised and discussed upholding the spirit of open and informative exchange and sharing.

The talk ended successfully and left many memorable memories
