The art performance competition “HATOU TO ONPA – Waves and Sound 2024 (波濤と音波)"

“HATOU TO ONPA” is not only a platform for young talents to showcase their artistic skills but also an opportunity to experience and interact with Vietnamese – Japanese culture in a lively and engaging way. Inspired by Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” and the melodies of traditional Vietnamese music, the event’s title symbolizes the harmony between differences, allowing participants to reflect on the relationship between humans, nature, and music.

Participants will perform in a variety of artistic forms, including music, dance, traditional Vietnamese instruments, and creative performances, expressing both individuality and a love for Japanese culture. The event promises to create a dynamic and enriching space where students can connect, learn, share experiences, and spark creativity.

Beyond performing and enjoying art, “HATOU TO ONPA” provides an opportunity for students to strengthen organizational skills, build self-confidence, and enhance communication abilities in a professional artistic environment.
