The E-FACE 2019 - Contest to find the English Faculty's Representative

The E-FACE is the first program of the English Faculty that demonstrates the Faculty's identity, desiring to find a representative to widely promote the Faculty's image inside and outside the Academy.

The E-FACE is an exciting and unique playground for all university students majoring in English Language. The Contest, comprising four rounds, attracted the participation of several talented students; this is a unique opportunity for the young to show their talents, personalities, and intelligence.

Through the Preliminary round with a catwalk challenge and interview, the top 12 students entered the Semi-final Round, which was held this afternoon of April 5th, at Hall A, Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam. In this round, contestants gave awe-inspiring and diverse talent performances, including sing and dance, musical plays, modern dance, sports dance, martial arts, etc... Notably, many performances were not restricted to a single genre but instead staged as a combination of different genres with comprehensive content and structure, making a good impression on the audience and showing the contestants' much-appreciated creativity and dedication.

With twelve different personalities and colors, contestants evoked powerful emotions in the audience, spreading the English Faculty's spirit and identity in general and the Contest's in particular: From RIGHT to BRIGHT.

After careful considerations made by the panel of Judges, at the end of the round, the Organizers of the E-FACE 2019 announced the top 3 most outstanding performances of the following contestants: Pham Duc Minh (TA45C), Bui Thi Hien Phuong (TA44C), Do Thi Phuong Thao (TA44C). The most favorite contestant through online voting is Nguyen Khanh Vi (TA45C). These four contestants will enter the Final night directly.

The final night of the Contest is to be held at 18:00 on April 19th at Hall A, promising to evoke sublime emotions and highlighting the intellectual beauty of DAV students in general and English Faculty's students in particular. A new feature of the Contest is that in the Final Round, eight contestants will perform and introduce the traditional costumes of English-speaking countries, as well as debate and answer questions on international issues that are gaining attention from the community to demonstrate their knowledge about their major and the spirit of deep, wide global integration and active embrace of new trends.
