The Grand Finale of the 2025 Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam Contest on Understanding Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology: “Diplomacy rising in the digital era” - A landmark of modern - era Diplomacy

The competition was organized to ignite the spirit of learning, understanding and applying Ho Chi Minh's ideology creatively, thereby contributing to fostering political mettle and integration thinking for students of the Diplomatic Academy. After two rounds of competition full of hardship and challenges, surpassing thousands of excellent participants, the Top 5 teams and 30 most outstanding participants officially participated in the Finale to compete in the elite Championship.

Attending the Grand Finale, on behalf of the Academy's leadership, the Organization Committee welcomed Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin - Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy, who is also a member of the Jury in the Finale. The Jury Council also included Amb/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thai Yen Huong - Former Deputy Director of DAV, Former Representative of Vietnam at the ASEAN Intergovernmental Committee on Human Rights; Dr. Ly Thi Hai Yen - Head of the Department of Political Theory; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hanh - Former Deputy Head of the Department of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hiep - Head of the Department of Political Affairs & Student Management, Diplomatic Academy.

The Grand Finale opened with a formal Opening Ceremony, filled with a solemn and meaningful atmosphere. After the program introduction, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin - representative of the Academy's Board of Directors - gave a passionate opening speech. In her speech, she affirmed that Ho Chi Minh's Ideology is a guiding principle for the young generation on their path of contribution. 

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and his lifestyle is not only the responsibility but also an honor for Vietnam's young generation. It is a  foundation to help young people determine the right ideals in life, fostering the aspiration to build and protect the country in today’s world. Her speech ignited the spirit of motivating the participants to enter the final round with the most determined and confident attitude.

After 02 rounds, the Competition has found the Top 30 best participants who have surpassed hundreds of participants to participate in the Final Night. The Top 30 correspond to 05 teams: DIPLOMASIX, “Cháu ngoan Bác Hồ” , UNITOPIA, TWOMORROWLAND, and TU HAI GIAO TINH who have prepared carefully for 3 months to be ready to conquer the Championship. 

The Grand Finale took place with 02 competitions: “Golden Bell” and “Public Speaking”. Entering the first competition - “Golden Bell”, the teams demonstrated their adeptness and rich knowledge by answering 25 challenging questions. The questions were extremely diverse in both content and form, requiring the teams to have extensive knowledge of history and Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology.

The top 30 participants entered the second round - "Public Speaking" with confidence and determination to conquer the challenge. Each team took turns presenting their speech on a pre-prepared topic, and answered questions from the jury panel.

The competition ended with the victory of the “DIPLOMASIX” team: Tran Vu Huyen Tran, Nguyen Duy Dai, Do Thanh Phuong, Dang Minh Ha, Tran Dinh Nam, Nguyen Ha Duong - the outstanding faces who completely conquered the judges and the audience with their confident demeanor, stage presence and profound speeches. The theme “Diplomatic Youth Ready for the Nation’s Era of Advancement” was conveyed in an inspirational way, closely linked to Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology on the responsibility of defending the country. The team also demonstrated a creative, and proactive spirit of learning and absorbing Ho Chi Minh's Ideology. This is a clear demonstration of the pioneering role of Diplomatic students in the era of national resurgence.

The 2025 Competition on Studying about Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology of the Diplomatic Academy - "Diplomacy Rising up in the Digital Age" has ended, igniting the spirit of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, opening a new journey, where Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology continues to be studied, learned, inherited and strongly spread by the young generation of Diplomats in the digital age - an era full of changes but also open for great ideological values ​​to continue to shine in the future of the nation./.
