

On the morning of 26 February 2026, at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong, Vice President of the Academy, received H.E. Hun Saroeun, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia, on the occasion of his courtesy visit and working session with the Academy.
Attending the meeting, on behalf of the Diplomatic Academy were Mr. Ngo Quang Anh, Director General of Foreign Service Training Department (FOSET); Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Probationary Deputy Director General of the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies; along with representatives from the FOSET, the International Cooperation Division, and the East Sea (South China Sea) Institute.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation measures to effectively implement the project “LMC Diplomats: Revitalizing Multilateralism for Shared Growth,” while also sharing perspectives on the current state and role of multilateralism in the context of increasing strategic competition and polarization trends. They also discussed specific approaches to reviving and strengthening the role of multilateralism, thereby contributing to enhanced cooperation and shared growth in the region. In an open and trusting atmosphere, both sides discussed cooperation related to the implementation of the LMC Project as well as orientations for strengthening coordination in diplomatic training in the coming time. Both sides agreed to maintain regular exchanges and close coordination to ensure progress on the agreed contents, thereby contributing to consolidating bilateral cooperation between Viet Nam and Cambodia, as well as between the diplomatic training institutions of the two countries.
