Taking the glorious victory of April 30, 1975, as the grand theme, the event series “The Days the Flowers Bloomed” featured two main activities: the “The Days the Flowers Bloomed” Book Exhibition and the “Taking Pen to Write History” Talk Show (Chấp bút ghi sử). The Book Exhibition saw the enthusiastic participation of over 200 attendees, while the Talk Show also attracted the attention of over 290 participants.

The “The Days the Flowers Bloomed” Book Exhibition was open to the public from April 15–17. Inside the exhibition, the DAV Book Club displayed works, paintings, and photos that vividly and truthfully depicted the Ho Chi Minh Campaign. Accompanying this were profound discussions and exchanges revolving around the Southern Liberation event of April 30, 1975, between the exhibition attendees and the Organizing Committee.

Furthermore, the exhibition offered engaging interactive activities such as organizing the “Quick Question, Quick Answer” game using question cards and a guestbook for participants to record their thoughts and feelings.

For the “Taking Pen to Write History” Talk Show, the DAV Book Club presented a truly precious and sincere conversation between the young speaker with a great love for history, Quynh Giao (Giao Cun), and listeners with a distinct interest in Vietnamese history.

The Talk Show was held on April 24, 2024, at Hall A, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. The conversation took place in a warm, intimate, yet equally moving and proud atmosphere. Focusing on two main contents - “Youth with a Passion for History” and “Spreading the Culture of Reading History” - the speaker shared sincere insights on effective historical reading methods as well as her immense love for the nation’s history.
The event series “The Days the Flowers Bloomed” by the DAV Book Club and the Library Room was a great success with the active participation and contribution from the entire Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, and specifically the Library Room and the DAV Book Club.
