Inspired by the book "Give Me a Ticket to Childhood" (Cho tôi xin một vé đi tuổi thơ) by author Nguyen Nhat Anh, the event series “Dreamy 4.0 – A Ticket to Childhood” featured two main activities: the “O An Quan – Cultural Square” Festival (Ô ăn quan - Ô văn hóa) and the “Touching the Literary Strokes – Breathing Life into Culture” Talk Show (Chạm nét văn chương - Thổi hồn văn hóa). The "O An Quan – Cultural Square” Festival saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, staff, and lecturers of the Academy, while the Talk Show “Touching the Literary Strokes – Breathing Life into Culture” also attracted the interest of over 200 students.

“O An Quan – Cultural Square” Festival
The Festival was held from April 14–18, featuring the “Our Childhood” Book Exhibition (Chúng mình thuở bé) along with hands-on folk game experiences.
The “Our Childhood” Book Exhibition not only provided an opportunity to return to childhood through children's literary works but also encouraged the spirit of reading, motivating the younger generation to delve deeper into Vietnamese folklore and history.

Furthermore, the exhibition offered engaging activities such as answering riddles via question cards, matching couplets, and writing in a guestbook to record the thoughts and feelings of the students.

In the Folk Games Experience area, students could participate in playing O An Quan (Mandarin Capturing) and Rải Ranh (Tossing and Catching), which are all folk games familiar to many generations of Vietnamese youth.
“Touching the Literary Strokes – Breathing Life into Culture” Talk Show
The Talk Show took place with the participation of two speakers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Thach and writer Nguyen Truong Quy.

The Talk Show was held on April 19, 2025, at Hall A, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Focusing on two main contents: “Folk Culture – The Key to Nurturing the Souls of Children” and “Folk Culture – A Foothold for Contemporary Creation,” the two speakers shared practical perspectives on how folk culture enters literature—from serving as creative material to its role in nurturing the soul and inspiring creativity. The talk show also discussed how to access and research culture through books, as well as how modern authors can integrate and promote folk values in their works.

The “Dreamy 4.0 – A Ticket to Childhood” event series by the DAV Book Club and the Library Room concluded successfully, thanks to the active participation and contribution from all staff, lecturers, and students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, and particularly the Library Room and the DAV Book Club. The series successfully connected generations of DAV staff and students, contributing to honoring, preserving, and promoting the unique traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese nation.
