Way of Wind 2024: Southeast Asia knowledge competition

On February 5, 2024, the “Way of Wind 2024 - Southeast Asia Knowledge Competition” officially kicked off, aiming to create a meaningful and challenging playground for students, where they could explore and shine with their passion for learning about Southeast Asia. With the goal of expanding knowledge and spreading cultural values, WoW24 offered participants the opportunity to experience, share, and connect through stories about unique cultures, local cuisines, vibrant festivals, and famous destinations across the region, under the theme “Travel to Connect.”

Accompanied by an experienced panel of judges: Ambassador Dr. Luận Thuỳ Dương, Dr. Nguyễn Thuỳ Châu, and Master Nguyễn Thị Thu Trà, the competition promised a journey full of challenges, creativity, and inspiration, where contestants could showcase their knowledge and passion for exploring Southeast Asia.

The competition consisted of three main rounds: The Rise (Preliminary Round), The Shine (Semi-Final), and The Sparkle (Grand Finale). With careful attention to content and creative presentation, each poster and video reflected the unique personality of the teams. The intense race for points concluded with the top four teams advancing to the Grand Finale: Gơn Xì Tin, 404 – Không tìm thấy, vol.4, and DNA.

The Way of Wind 2024 Grand Finale, hosted by MC Phạm Đức and MC Ngọc Bích, marked a milestone, representing the culmination of all preparation efforts and witnessing the determination, courage, and creativity of the Top 4 teams. Through persuasive presentations and dynamic responses, the teams created an energetic and competitive atmosphere, alongside a “sky” of rich knowledge about tourism in Southeast Asia.

Thanks to their outstanding performances, the teams successfully navigated the challenging journey to claim well-deserved positions. The awards were presented as follows: Most Loved Poster went to GEs (Golden Eagles); Most Loved Video was awarded to DNA; Third Place was shared by DNA and vol.4; Second Place went to 404 - Không tìm thấy; and First Place was claimed by Gơn Xì Tin. The teamwork, knowledge, and quick-thinking of the teams impressed the judges, making the results truly well-deserved.

With a strong sense of responsibility, continuous creativity, and meticulous preparation at every stage, the Organizing Committee ensured the competition ran smoothly and effectively. Their focus on fostering a friendly, open, and highly connected environment also inspired a genuine passion for learning about Southeast Asia among participants. All of these elements contributed to a vibrant and engaging journey that defined Way of Wind 2024.
