YOUTH UNION DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY OF VIET NAM
The Youth Union of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) is a core political and social organization of the Academy, entrusted with the mission of fostering a generation of young people who are patriotic, steadfast in the goal of national independence associated with socialism, equipped with sound ethics, knowledge and a strong sense of dedication. In the context of deepening globalization and international integration, the Youth Union works to develop students with broad vision, strategic thinking, firm political resolve, and the ability to adapt effectively to rapid regional and global developments. Through these efforts, the Union contributes to shaping a cohort of young diplomatic talents who are confident, internationally minded and committed to advancing the nation’s interests on the global stage.
Each year, the DAV Youth Union leaves a strong mark through large-scale programs within and beyond the Academy, earning the trust of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Union leads and participates in many major activities of the Ministry in coordination with other ministries and agencies, such as: the Dialogue between the Minister and Youth of the Foreign Service, Tet Yeu Thuong, ASEAN Tet and Friends, Green Summer Campaign, Miss DAV - Diplomatic Academy Beauty Pageant, DAV Sports Day and others. In addition, the Youth Union organizes the Academy’s signature annual programs, including Chao Khoa Moi - the largest event for freshmen at DAV and the DAV Open House admissions consulting series. These activities create an enabling environment for students to demonstrate their abilities, strengthen their confidence, and nurture a spirit of service.
The DAV Youth Union also serves as an essential information bridge between students and the Academy through the official website and the “Diplomatic Academy Information Channel - DAV Official” fanpage, regularly updating important information about the Academy’s activities. As the organizer of many major events, the Youth Union’s team of collaborators and executive committee members work in close coordination with professionalism, responsibility and enthusiasm, contributing to the distinctive and dynamic image of the Youth Union at DAV.
Guided by the motto “The Union is Home”, the Youth Union of the Diplomatic Academy consistently upholds its spirit of solidarity, responsibility and aspiration for dedication. It builds a strong organization, effectively implements youth movements, and inspires creativity and pioneering spirit among students. Through various stages of development, the DAV Youth Union has continuously affirmed its role as a vanguard force, contributing to shaping the intellect, courage and qualities of the young generation of the foreign service, ready to meet the demands of the new era.
