

Following the meeting, Ambassador Agathonos delivered a special lecture titled “Tech Diplomacy in the 21st Century,” attended by students and faculty members of DAV.
In his lecture, Ambassador Agathonos emphasized that the rapid development of science and technology has created both opportunities and challenges for diplomats. Cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and cybersecurity not only enhance analytical and decision-making capabilities
The Ambassador also highlighted the challenges diplomats face, particularly in balancing the use of technology with maintaining core humanistic values in diplomacy. His lecture was enriched with practical examples, providing the audience with a clear understanding of the role and application of technology in diplomatic activities.
The lecture fostered an open and interactive atmosphere, with faculty members, staff, and students actively engaging in discussions and posing questions, further enriching the content of the session.
