Book donation ceremony for “Chuyện ‘đi sứ’ thời hội nhập” on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20

On the occasion of November 20, Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Ambassador Ngô Quang Xuân and Ambassador Nguyễn Thạc Dĩnh visited and donated to the Library of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam the book “Chuyện ‘đi sứ’ thời hội nhập (Kể tiếp hồi ức của các đại sứ)”, published by the Industry and Trade Publishing House in 2025.

Representing the Department of Science, Information, and the Journal of International Studies, Director Đặng Cẩm Tú received the book and expressed sincere gratitude to the Ambassadors. He also conveyed his hope that in the future the Ambassadors would continue to share their valuable insights, enriching the Academy’s resources and knowledge base on diplomacy.

The book, chief-edited by Ambassador Ngô Quang Xuân, compiles stories, experiences, and practical lessons from Ambassadors and heads of Vietnam’s overseas missions. Through the personal perspectives of those directly engaged in diplomatic work, the book vividly reflects Vietnam’s journey of international integration, the challenges, achievements, and the spirit of serving the nation among its diplomatic corps.

With historical, practical, and educational value, “Chuyện ‘đi sứ’ thời hội nhập” serves as a useful reference for students, researchers, and young generations interested in diplomacy. It helps readers better understand the role, responsibilities, and qualities required of diplomats, especially Vietnamese Ambassadors in the modern era.
