


Attended the ceremony were, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of Foreign Affairs. On behalf of the Evaluation Group, there were Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc (Head of Delegation); Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Loc (Deputy Head of Delegation); Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Secretary of Delegation); along with members of the mission: Prof. Dr Nguyen Hoa, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Oanh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Assoc. Prof. Dr Le Phuoc Minh and MA. Pham Vuong (Supervisor).

On behalf of the leaders of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Tung, Director of the Academy; Dr. Pham Lan Dung, Deputy Director, and members of the Council for self-assessment of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, leaders of the units; 07 specialized groups, Secretariat of Self-Assessment Council and all staff, lecturers and student representatives of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke and expressed his pleasure to represent leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended and delivered a speech at this important event. He expressed his appreciation to the External Evaluation Experts Group for their serious, responsible and dedicated work to create the most comprehensive and objective evaluation of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Mr. Bui Thanh Son also emphasized the important role of the Academy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the same time emphasizing the initiation and activeness of the Academy in the process of implementing external survey and evaluation activities.

Mr. Son emphasized that the assessment and accreditation of the education and training are major policies of the State, creating opportunities for universities in general and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in particular to recognize the advantages and shortcomings, identifying issues that need innovation and improvement in order to serve the cause of national construction and development. He directed the Academy to build summary reports, receive recommendations from experts, build a comprehensive action program from management to education, striving to rise to the top group by 2030 in training, cultivating, and researching areas in service of foreign affairs. At the same time, he emphasized the attention and commitment from the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue accompanying the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in the upcoming development.
Proceeding the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Head of the delegation, presented the “Preliminary report on the official survey results of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam”. The content of the report includes an overview of the evaluation process, results and preliminary conclusions of the group. Preliminary results show that the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam has basically met the evaluation criteria according to the set of criteria of the Ministry of Education on training quality. The delegation will send the official results to the Academy in the near future.

After listening to the results of the preliminary evaluation by the external evaluation group, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Tung - Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, delivered a speech and expressed his joy when the survey process was implemented seriously, professionally, responsibly, and scientifically; bringing accurate and objective evaluation about the education quality of the Academy. He said that the evaluation process will help the Academy to perfect its scientific criteria in education and optimize the criteria for management, governance and sustainable development. Finally, the Director gave a special thanks to the Evaluation Group, the Academy's staffs, faculty members, and students for their positive contributions to the accreditation work.
In her sharing, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi - representing the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University, affirmed the serious working process of the delegation. The assessment aims to make the most accurate and objective conclusions about the educational quality of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Responding to the sharing from Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Dr. Pham Lan Dung - Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam expressed her desire to maintain a cooperative relationship with the Youth Union to continue learning experiences in ensuring the quality of education and send New Year greetings to all delegates attended the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc, Head of External Evaluation Group, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director in charge of Education Quality Assurance Center - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Tung, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to complete the Official Survey.
