On May 23rd, high-quality Communication students from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) began a practical study tour and communication project execution in Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province).

The two-day trip was part of the “Convergent Communication and Multimedia” course, overseen by Mr. Nguyen Dong Anh, M.A. - Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Communication and Cultural. This served as an opportunity for students to carry out a multimedia communication project, enhance their experience, and accumulate practical knowledge by engaging directly with real-world scenarios. Upon completion, the most outstanding articles will be published in prestigious online newspapers such as VietNamPlus and VietNamNet

Students were introduced to visit the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center

The first stop for the high-quality students was the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center.

Mr. Nguyen Dong Anh expressed his gratitude to the Center for assisting the students in gaining learning and practical experience at the center and within the locality. “Communication students are always given opportunities to engage with the outside world so that they can start working immediately upon graduation without requiring further training. This is the wish of the Academy, and we hope that here, the students can hear stories directly from the work reality of industry professionals,”  shared Mr. Dong Anh.

Echoing this view, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thien, Deputy Director of the Center, expressed her admiration for the high-quality Communication students: “I find that the communication students from the Academy are truly excellent and have made a great impression on me. I hope I can share my experiences and assist them during this trip,” said Ms. Thien.

Ms. Thien shared and introduced some communication publications of the Center

Additionally, Ms. Thien encouraged the students to submit collaborative articles to the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center to further hone their professional skills for their future careers.
