DAV's Acting President received Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Viet Nam

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Tâm, Assistant to the Ambassador; along with representatives from various units of DAV, including the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies, the Foreign Service Training Center (FOSET), and the External Cooperation Department.

Ambassador Baghdasaryan expressed his gratitude to Dr. Phạm Lan Dung and the staff of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam for the attentive and warm reception. The Ambassador, who began his tenure in Viet Nam in February 2024, expressed a strong desire to enhance the cooperative relationship between Armenia and Viet Nam, especially through the implementation of activities in accordance with the spirit of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between DAV and the Diplomatic School of Armenia.

Dr. Phạm Lan Dung welcomed Ambassador Baghdasaryan to his new assignment in Viet Nam and wished him a successful tenure. Dr. Phạm Lan Dung proposed several activities to implement the MOU signed in 2022 between DAV and the Diplomatic School of Armenia, such as organizing online roundtable discussions on regional and international issues of mutual interest; faculty and student exchanges; internship opportunities at the Embassy for DAV students, and inviting the Ambassador to give lecture and attend international conferences organized by DAV./.
