DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY OF VIET NAM SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CHINA FOREIGN AFFAIRS UNIVERSITY
From 22nd to 26th September, 2024, a delegation from the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), led by Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, Vice President of the Academy, paid a working visit to China. During this visit, the delegation participated in a Track 1.5 workshop and engaged in in-depth academic exchanges with some of China's leading research institutes. A key highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the DAV and the China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) on September 23rd, 2024, in Beijing.
The MOU was signed by Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, representing the DAV and Dr. Sun Jisheng, Vice President of CFAU. This agreement aims to promote comprehensive cooperation in research, training, and academic exchanges, particularly in the fields of international relations and diplomacy. This partnership is expected to contribute to the development of highly qualified diplomatic personnel for both Viet Nam and China.
This MOU seeks to enhance comprehensive collaboration in research, education, and academic exchange, focusing on areas such as foreign policy, regional security, and sustainable development. Joint research programs will enable both institutions to develop strategic thinking and contribute to the formulation of foreign policies that address contemporary global challenges./.
